Functional monitoring and fault-tolerant control of jet engine

This project is carried out in cooperation with Volvo Aero and aims at the development of fault tolerant controllers and fault detection algorithms for jet engines. Fault detection algorithms for the motor function as well as for the sensors, actuators and auxiliary equipment are sought. Fault-tolerant jet control is seen as automatic measures undertaken for minimization of the fault impact on the motor function.
