Examination

Labs and small take-home exams during the course.

The grading is as follows: the take-home exams will be graded either G (pass), VG (pass with distinction), K (changes need to be made) or U (fail). The labs will be graded either G, K or U. The labs for the course are mandatory. In order to get a 5 on the course you need to get a VG on all three take-home exams, in order to get a 4 you need 2 VGs (and no outstanding K or U) and in order to get a 3 you need to have passed all three take-home exams.

Update -- additionally, you can also get a 5 for the course if you got a G for the first assignment, but a VG on the extra assignment. No other tweaking of your grade will be allowed.
