Assignment 4: Peer evaluation

When you have finished assignment 1,2 and 3 and published the results on your webpage according to the schedule , you will be paired off with one other course participant. Your fellow student will be presented on your row in the column for the fourth assignment on the students page. You evaluate and give feedback on your fellow student's prototypes. In addition to doing, for instance, a heuristic evaluation, you should also conduct user testing, with at least one user, preferably a real or potential user. If you cannot get hold of any real users, try to use a friend or colleague who fits the user description.

To summarize the assignment:

  1. Conduct user testing of your fellow students prototype
  2. Document test results
  3. Evaluate and write relevant constructive feedback that can heighten the usability of the proposed solution, based on issues treated in the course.

The documentation and result of your peer evaluation shall be published on your webpage with a link to the evaluated project. If the user tests are conducted in Swedish, which might be quite natural in many ways, its okay to publish the test results in Swedish on your webpage. In that case, ad a summary of the test in English. Send a notice (mail) to your fellow student and to the course assistant when you are done with the assignment. Also provide a link on your home page to the evaluation web page of your project. Deadline for the peer evaluation can be found in the schedule.
