Re-examination assignments now available - deadline Jan 10, 2007.

The results have been updated, and many results reported. Please check info about re-examination and incomplete handins!!

Results for assignment 4 are now available. Several will need extra examination to pass the course - this will be arranged soon.

Results for assignment 3 are now available.

A preliminary programme for the presentations is now available.

• Instructions for the notarization event (identity assertion for S/MIME certificates) on Thursday are now available.
• An M.Sc. thesis project (exjobb) Methods for attack graph construction at Ericsson Research was announced by - contact her for further details!

• Joakim von Braun's slides are now available in PDF and Powerpoint formats.
• Notarization (checking of identities for getting your name in the S/MIME certificate) will take place Thursday 10:15. More instructions will appear.

• Assignment 3 is now available.
• Results of assignment 2 have been updated.

Results of assignment 2, as well as comments on the questions, are now available.

• On Oct 3 (Tuesday) at 15:15 in the MIC Aula, a seminar on trends in virus/worm/trojan threats will be given by Joachim von Braun, swedish computer security expert. Unfortunately it seems the seminar will be in swedish. See the announcement.
• Assignment 2 feedback is planned for the Monday lecture.
• Assignment 3 will be handed out Thursday (Oct 5), deadline (most likely) Thursday Oct 12.
• Assignment 4 will be handed out Thursday Oct 12, deadline (most likely) Wednesday Oct 18.

• Some clarifications of questions 1 and 2 of assignment 2 have been made today.
• Information about the PM/oral presentation is now available, with a list of suggested/example topics.

The second assignment is available - deadline Wednesday September 27, 2006, 8:30 (am).

• The following email addresses bounce, so you should correct your forwarding/addresses in UpUnet-S: pheighron at gmail.com, asif220it at hotmail.com, and shakeelcapricorn at hotmail.com.
• The student "security group" for the course web pages has been updated, and most of you should now be able to edit the FAQ and Links pages.

• The book is now available at Studentbokhandeln, or using their online ordering service also at Ångström! Get it!
• The first assignment is available - deadline Wednesday, September 6, 10:15 local time.

• Lecture notes for chapters 1-3 are now available.
• Akademibokhandeln and Studentbokhandeln have/are ordering the book, and expect it to arrive within 10 days - possibly Studentbokhandeln will have it quicker. If you can borrow the 1st edition, it will suffice for the first week(s) of the course.
