You may bring your private laptop for the code grading or you may use the department Linux system.
Each pair will meet with one member of the teaching staff for a 15 minute code grading session. During the code grading you will present and discuss your solution to the module 4 mandatory assignments mutual exclusion, rendezvous and bounded buffer. Working solutions are not enough. During the code grading you must show that you understand the concepts used in the assignments and that you can explain how your solutions works.
Grading
You will be graded fail or pass (3) individually.
Retake
If you fail the code grading for the mandatory assignment you must attend the retake code grading Thursday Mars 8 and no longer has the opportunity to get a higher grade than pass (3) for the module 1 assignment.
Higer grade
If you pass the the code grading you have the opportunity to solve the optional Simple Threads™ higher grade assignment and present your solution during a code grading session Thursday Mars 8.
In the detailed schedule below you see when your pair is scheduled for the code grading.
Be ready 15 minutes early
Each pair should be ready outside the Linux lab 15 minutes before their scheduled time slot. If a pair is late, one of the early pairs will take their place.
Questions
General questions regarding the code grading schedule should be posted on Piazza. Specific questions, for example requests to swap times or days should be sent to Diep.
A larger number of students than anticipated have signed up for higher grade assignments. To adjust for this, a few pairs needs to start at 10:00 sharp and a few other pairs will be scheduled 12:00 - 12:15.
