Mathematical modelling and analysis of endocrine dynamic control mechanisms

This is a cooperation project between Uppsala University and Saint Petersburg State University financed by the Royal Swedish Academy of Science. The project idea is to use mathematical modelling, analysis and system identification tools of dynamic systems for discerning, quantification and explanation of endocrine control mechanisms. The competences of the research group at Uppsala University specializing in state and parameter estimation in dynamic systems are well complemented with expert knowledge of dynamic phenomena such as nonlinear oscillations, pulse modulation and sampled data control represented by the Russian counterpart.

Researcher at UU: Alexander Medvedev.

Researchers at Saint Petersburg State University: Alexander Churilov, Alexander Shepeljavyi
