"The one who follows the crowd will usually get no further than the crowd. The one who walks alone, is likely to find himself in places no one has ever been."

Mojtaba Soltanalian received the B.Sc. degree from Sharif University of Technology, in 2009.

He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering (with applications in signal processing) under the supervision of Prof. Peter Stoica at the Department of Information Technology, Uppsala University, Sweden, in Oct. 2014. His research interests include different aspects of sequence/waveform design/optimization for active sensing, communications and biology.

He has been a recipient of -or supported in part by- different research grants from the European Research Council (ERC), the Swedish Research Council (VR), and Ericsson.
