Abstract
At Arista Networks, we build high-end datacenter multilayer
network switches. TACC is the programming framework, model and language
that is used throughout the development of the product. It is based on
the attribute-oriented programming paradigm developed by Prof. David
Cheriton (Stanford University), one of the company's founders. In this
presentation, I will give an overview of the context and some details
of the programming model with its advantages and some typical patterns
faced by a TACC programmer. Testing and verification challenges will be
discussed as well.
